***In order to participate in the skills portion of training, students must have their own tourniquet, gauze (a clean shirt can be used to substitute), and item to demonstrate techniques on (a full roll of paper towel will do)***

Time is of the essence when a life-threatening bleeding incident occurs. The Stop The Bleed Training course will teach you how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and provide you the skills to act quickly to control the bleeding using three different bleeding control techniques.

Each participant will be required to complete both the academic lecture and the skills component to receive a certificate of completion.
